The cycling route along the Elbląg Canal is a true global one-off. Built in 1860s, the canal once connected the Baltic Sea with the lakes of Warmia. Its standout feature? Ships that climb hills using a unique system of inclines. The bike path cleverly follows the canal’s historic technical infrastructure, including service roads.
Our route takes you through the nature reserve around Lake Drużno and past all five historic inclines. Along the way you’ll pass old bridges, manor houses and churches. It’s the perfect mix of stunning Warmia nature and rich history.
We ride this route as a group with an experienced guide.
